Alisha Solomons - Director/Writer

I’m Alisha Solomons, I’m the director and writer of She. I’ve been working on this film for about as much time as it takes to conceive a child… She’s an Aries! She really is my baby and a culmination of everything I love about my craft and everything I learned at Sheridan. I’m excited to graduate and further my career in screenwriting and directing, as it’s what I love most. I’m also super excited for our festival run and getting to send She out there and see how my baby does. I hope you love her as much as I do.

Kara O'Donnell - Producer/Story Editor

I’m Kara O’Donnell, and I was the producer and story editor for ‘She’. Since Alisha sent me the first draft, I’ve been so excited to share this film and give light to ‘She’s story. Now that we’ve finished our time at Sheridan College, I’m excited to continuing working with the ‘She’ team to promote the film as well as working on my own career in Development & Screenwriting.

My name is Eden Jamie Alcia and I am the Picture Editor and Composer on She! After grad, I plan on working in post-production as an assistant editor, while pursuing my passion projects on the side. I will continue composing and picture editing on smaller productions that will hopefully grow into bigger ones as I gain more experience!

Melanie Matsubuchi - Casting Director & Post Supervisor

Hi, my name is Melanie Matsubuchi and I had the honor of Casting Director, Production Manager, and Co-Post Production Supervisor for SHE. I also managed to convince a theatre to let us film there. After school, I plan on being a picture editor as I work my way up to be a show-runner for television.

Katie McKenna - 1st Assistant Director

Hi, I'm Katie McKenna the 1st Assistant Director for She! I am currently working at CHCH News in Hamilton as a Production Assistant, and training to become a Field Producer. I have a passion for broadcast and want to bring important stories to the public.
